Uncle DaveO Recording Session

Studio Projects C3 microphones, both set to Figure 8 pattern.  The vocal mic dead plane points to the guitar sound hole - the guitar mic dead plane is lined up with Dave's mouth.  The result is quality sound and very good isolation between the two microphones.

The small circular baffle helps keep reflections out of the instrument mic.

The room (my "studio") is 12x12 with a sloped ceiling.  It houses all my gear and I'm in there too when we're recording.  It's a bit cramped, but it gets the job done

Sigmon Myers Recital

A pair of Studio Projects C3's on the piano

There was also a Clavinova use on two pieces.  It was recorded direct from the audio outputs.

An XY pair of Rode NT5's recorded applause.
